Dhanvantari, Bharadvāja, Nimi, Kāśyapa, and Kaśyapa,
of great fortune and noble soul, and likewise Lambāyana and others,

For that [blood], increasing and staying inside—whether with semen or without semen, or devoid of life—in a woman resorting to vāta-increasing foods, showing signs of pregnancy, becomes an abdominal swelling.

There one should look to the treatment of abdominal swelling.

Here, disease (roga) is that which causes pain (rujati).

Its comprehension is through etiology, premonitory symptoms, symptoms, therapeutic exploratory tests, and pathogenesis.

One should perform emesis for one who is fit for emesis; otherwise, it would cause harm.

Especially in phlegm-fever, abdominal swelling, coryza, and internal abscesses, repeatedly until bile comes up.

By that, he vomits well.

May the constellations, the directions, the night, and the day protect you!
