12.42

paraṃ keśyastu tanmajjā śukraghnaṃ ca tato 'ñjanam |

iya rasāyanavarā triphalākṣyāmayāpahā |

ropaṇī tvaggadakledamedomehakaphāsrajit ||

pākāddravā dravīkuryuḥ sandhisrotomukhānyapi ||

Its marrow is supremely beneficial for the hair, and collyrium made from it destroys cataracts.
This triphalā is the best rejuvenating tonic, removes eye diseases,
heals wounds, and conquers skin diseases, clamminess, fat, urinary disorders, and kapha-blood.
From suppurative digestion, being fluid, they liquefy even the joints and channel openings.
