14.12

atiślakṣṇakharasparśasvedāsvedavivarṇatāḥ |

dāhaḥ kaṇḍūstvaci svāpastodaḥ koṭhonnatiḥśramaḥ ||

sphaṭikakuṅkumaśaṅkhanābhimadhuyaṣṭikā vā kṣaudrārdrāstadvadvā rasāñjanaṃ kāsīsaṃ vā ||

Excessive smoothness or roughness to the touch, sweating or absence of sweat, discoloration,
burning, itching, numbness in the skin, piercing pain, eruption of rashes, and fatigue [are premonitory symptoms].
Rock crystal, saffron, conch-navel, and madhuyaṣṭikā moistened with honey, or likewise rasāñjana or ferrous sulfate [are useful].
