Manageable by wholesome regimens due to a remainder of lifespan, usually on the opposite condition;
giving slight relief, it expands with a slight cause.
When it affects a portion of her [reproductive tissue], then [she produces] dead offspring;
whatever is born to her dies repeatedly.
One should call that sannipāta fever "abhinyāsa", in which the vital essence is drained.
One afflicted with fever should drink triphalā or trāyamāṇā with milk.
That decoction reduced to one quarter, strained and combined with a tulā of jaggery.
Taken with pāṭhā and honey, they are supreme removers of defects of breast milk.
