2.96

mandajvaraḥ pralepastu saśītaḥ syātpralepakaḥ |

nityaṃ mandajvaro rūkṣaḥ śītaḥ kṛcchreṇa sidhyati ||

vītaśītaṃ ca vijñāya tāstato 'panayet punaḥ ||

bhojayet brāhmaṇāṃścātra pāyasaṃ madhusarpiṣā ||

Fever with mild heat, smearing, and coldness is Pralepaka; / constantly mild fever, unctuous-less, cold, is cured with difficulty. / Knowing that coldness is gone, one should then remove them again; / and here one should feed Brāhmaṇas milk-rice with honey and ghee.
