Aṣṭāṅgasaṃgraha 20.21-22

20.21
ekaṃ tulyādhikaiḥ ṣaṭ ca tāratamyavikalpanāt |
pañcaviṃśatirityevaṃ vṛddhaiḥ kṣīṇaiśca tāvataḥ ||
One by equals, six by excessive ones, through the differentiation of degrees;
thus twenty-five through increased [doṣas], and just as many through decreased ones.
20.22
ekaikavṛddhisamatākṣayaiḥ ṣaṭ te punaśca ṣaṭ |
ekakṣayadvandvavṛddhyā saviparyayayāpi te ||
Six through the single increase, equality, and decrease of each; and those again are six
through the decrease of one and the increase of a pair, as well as the reverse.
