This foremost oil named amṛtā is the best dispeller of vāta disorders. / One should boil a droṇa of oil in an extract of a thousand [palas] of rāsnā, / with ground aromatic substances of the Himalayas, such as elā and the rest; it cures vāta afflictions. / This same method applies to aśvagandhā, and likewise to balā and atibalā.
