Aṣṭāṅgasaṃgraha 27.38

27.38
adṛṣṭajīrṇaliṅgaṃ ca laṅghayet pītabheṣajam |
snehasvedauṣadhotkleśasaṅgairiti na bādhyate ||
and one who shows no signs of [the medicine] being digested, having drunk the medicine, one should make him fast;
thus he is not afflicted by the obstruction caused by the excitement of oleation, sudation, and medicine.
