śamanamakālavalīpalitakhalatidāruṇakaraktarājīvyaṅganīlikāraktapittādiṣu yathāsvamupadiṣṭaiḥ snehairbheṣajasvarasādibhiḥ kṣīrodakābhyāṃ vā samadoṣe vāṇutaileneti ||

Pacifying [nasal medication is used] in premature wrinkles, graying of hair, baldness, dandruff, red streaks in the eyes, facial pigmentation, dark blemishes, bleeding disorders, and the like, by unctuous substances prescribed individually, by fresh juices of medicines and the like, or with milk and water, or, when the doṣas are in equilibrium, with Aṇu oil.
