athaināmupasthitagarbhāṃ kṛtakautukamaṅgalāṃ punnāmaphalahastāṃ svabhyaktāmuṣṇodakapariṣiktāṃ saghṛtāṃ yavāgūṃ pāyayet |
Then, once the fetus has presented, [the mother], having had protective rites performed, holding fruits of masculine names, well anointed, and sprinkled with hot water, should be made to drink gruel with ghee.
