Having wiped the bodily channel of waste with a clean lump of clay free from stones, / one should apply pure water that has been drawn up and lumps of earth. // Thus, because her passages are opened, the medicine enters properly. // Red, turmeric-like, or green coloration in the eyes and other parts, // and fasting for one who drinks the water of the six ingredients without dried ginger. // One should quickly scrape that out. / And having rekindled his digestive fire through fasting, and oleated him again, one should purify him with sharp and hot drugs. // take away the health, support, and ease of children among them!"
