dhamennā 'syena na skandennā 'dhaḥ kuryānna pādataḥ |
satataṃ na nirīkṣeta calasūkṣmāpriyāṇi ca ||
One should not blow [on fire] with the mouth, nor jump over it, nor place it beneath oneself, nor near the feet; / and one should not stare constantly at moving, minute, or unpleasant things.
