śamano vātakaphayoḥ saṃsarge svasthakarmaṇi |

bṛṃhaṇo mārute śasto dhūmaḥ saṃśodhanaḥ kaphe ||

Smoke is pacifying when vāta and kapha are combined and in procedures for the healthy;
it is recommended as nourishing in [disorders of] vāta, and purifying in kapha.
