netre ca praṇihitamauṣadhaṃ kośasandhisirāśṛṅgāṭakaghrāṇāsyasrotāṃsi gatvordhvaṃ pravṛttamapavartayati doṣam ||
Medicine applied to the eye, having entered the eye-socket, joints, veins, the vascular junction of the head (śṛṅgāṭaka), the nose, and the channels of the mouth, expels the doṣa that has risen upward.
