kaurparaṃ tu bhiṣaksadhimaṃguṣṭhenānumārjayet |
anumṛjya tataḥ sandhiṃ pīḍayet kūrparāccyutam |
prasāryākuñcayeccainaṃ snehasakaṃ ca kārayet ||
The physician should smooth the elbow joint with the thumb; / having smoothed the joint displaced from the elbow, he should press it, / extend and flex it, and apply irrigation with unctuous substances.
