tato 'tivṛttakṣārāya dadyānmātrāṃ yathābalam |
kṣāro nivartate tena prasādaṃ tvak ca gacchati ||
Then, to one who has suffered from excess alkali, one should give a dose according to his strength. / By this the alkali is removed, and the skin returns to its natural clear state.
