yasyāḥ punarvātopasṛṣṭasrotasi līno garbhaḥ prasupto na spandate taṃ līnamityāhuḥ |
When a fetus, tucked away in the bodily channels affected by vāta, remains dormant and does not pulsate, they call that [fetus] lāna.
