nirmalaṃ śuci kālena pakvaṃ pāne 'mṛtopamam |
haṃsaughapakṣavikṣepabhramatbhramarapaṅktiṣu ||
kapitthabilvabṛhatīpaṭolekṣunidigdhikāt ||
madhunā maricaṃ lihyānmadhunaiva ca joṅgakam ||
vīraḥ kumārādhipatistava putro 'bhiṣicyatām ||
Stainless, pure, matured by time, like nectar to drink, / amidst rows of bees hovering at the flapping of flocks of swans' wings;
from wood-apple, bilva, bṛhatī, paṭola, sugar cane, and nidigdhikā,
one should lick black pepper with honey, and with honey alone joṅgaka.
May the heroic lord of Kumāras, your son, be consecrated!
