4.69

nirguṇḍīpatraniryāsasādhitaṃ kāsajidghṛtam |

ghṛtaṃ rase viḍaṅgānāṃ vyoṣagarbhaṃ ca sādhitam ||

bhūrbhuvassvaḥ svāhā |

dīptatejase svāhā |

havyavāhanāya svāhā |

yamāya svāhā |

naśyantyanena homena samastā bālakagrahāḥ ||

Ghee prepared with the juice of leaves of nirguṇḍī conquers cough; / and ghee prepared in the juice of viḍaṅga with the Three Pungents in its interior [conquers cough]. // Svāhā to earth, atmosphere, and heaven! / Svāhā to the radiant-splendored one! / Svāhā to the bearer of oblations! / Svāhā to Yama! / By this oblation, all seizing spirits of children are destroyed.
