tatkālakalpaṃ kālena kalāmabhyeti yāvatā |
ūhyamānaṃ samīreṇa tāvadvegāntaraṃ smṛtam ||
As it nears that time, in whatever time it reaches a membrane / being borne along by the bodily air, that much is remembered as the interval between stages.
