dinatriyāmāsandhyāsu prabalāste yathākramam |
tadaiva cāparādhyanti sarvadaiva tu pannagī ||
They are powerful during the day, the three watches of the night, and the twilights, respectively, / and bite at those very times; but a female snake bites at all times.
