napuṃsakena tiryagdṛgadhīraḥ priyamaithunaḥ |

bahuvādī ca vṛddhena cirānmandāśca vedanāḥ ||

One bitten by a hermaphrodite snake has an oblique gaze, is irresolute, fond of coitus,
and excessively talkative. [In a bite] by an old snake, the pains are slow to appear and dull;
