tāruṇyamadhyavṛddhatve vṛṣṭiśītātapeṣu ca |
viṣolbaṇā bhavantyete vyantarā ṛtusandhiṣu ||
In youth, middle age, and old age, and in rain, cold, and heat [respectively], / their poisons become intense; those of mixed breed [are fierce] at the junctions of the seasons.
