saindhavaṃ cāñjanaṃ śreṣṭhaṃ gavāṃ pittena kalkitam ||
Sandalwood, licorice, māṃsī, pippalī, black pepper, and utpala,
with rock salt, ground into a paste with cow's bile, makes an excellent collyrium.
