athāśu lūtādaṣṭasya śastreṇādaṃśamuddharet |

dahet jāṃbavoṣṭhādyairna tu pittottaraṃ dahet ||

Then, immediately, one should excise the bite of one bitten by a spider with a sharp instrument, / and burn it with a jambu-shaped cautery iron or similar tools; but one should not burn [a bite] dominated by pitta.
