anye vadanti bhuktasya duṣṭasyānnasya mūrcchanāt |

sambhavanti viṣasphoṭā ye lūtāḥ kīṭalakṣaṇam |

yathāsvaṃ dhārayantaste lūtāḥ kīṭāśca saṃjñitāḥ ||

Others say that poisonous eruptions that appear from the fermentation / of contaminated food that has been eaten are spiders; bearing the characteristics of insects / according to their own nature, they are designated as spiders and insects.
