raktāntarstveṇapādāyā daṃśaḥ kṛṣṇatilākṛtiḥ |
dāhamohāgnivīsarpatṛṅvamiśvāsakāsavān ||
The bite of an eṇapadā, being red within, has the appearance of a black sesame seed; / it is accompanied by burning, stupor, erysipelas [resembling] fire, thirst, vomiting, dyspnea, and cough.
