tadvacca saviṣatyāpi kriyākālātipātataḥ |
jānīyādviṣasadbhāvaṃ bhiṣaktasmāt prayatnataḥ ||
Likewise, even in one who has poison, [harm arises] from passing the appropriate time for action; / therefore, the physician should carefully ascertain the actual presence of poison.
