guṇairiti viparyastairnihataste parasparam |
yuñjyānmūlaviṣaṃ tasmāddaṣṭānāṃ pānalepayoḥ ||
Thus, being opposite in qualities, they destroy each other; / therefore, against those bitten [by animate creatures], one should apply plant-root poison in drinks and pastes.
