Of abhayā, āmalaka, and bibhītaka combined in double or triple amounts, wrapped in palāśa bark, coated with clay, steamed over a chaff fire, and deseeded, one should crush one thousand palas in a mortar, mix it with curd, honey, ghee, oil, meat, and sugar, and eat it without taking other food according to the prescribed procedure. At the end of the course of treatment, for twice that time, one's food should be gruel, soup, milk, ghee, and ṣaṣṭika-rice, with ghee for unction and barley powder for body rubs; the rest is identical with what was said before, or yields even greater results.
