kāsaṃ śvāsaṃ jvaraṃ śoṣaṃ hṛdrogaṃ vātaśoṇitam |
mūtraśukrāśrayāntoṣān vaisvaryaṃ ca vyapohati |
bālavṛddhakṣatakṣīṇakṛśānāmaṅgavarddhanaḥ ||
It dispels cough, dyspnea, fever, wasting, heart disease, vāta-blood, / afflictions residing in the urine and semen, and hoarseness of voice; / it promotes bodily growth in children, the aged, the wounded, the emaciated, and the lean.
