Three in the pelvic bones; twenty-four in the vertebral column;

likewise in the flanks;

eight in the chest.

Cough, loss of digestive fire, spitting, sleepiness, laziness, anorexia, and fever [occur].
Through them one very quickly obtains semen, virility, strength, and nourishment.
One should cook an āḍhaka of oil with one-pala amounts of ground vitalizing drugs.
Svāhā to the one whose hand holds a mace!
Svāhā to the unconquered one!
Svāhā to the one wearing variegated garments!
