srotassu śudveṣvamale śarīre vṛṣyaṃ yadādyaṃ mitamatti kāle |
vṛṣāyate tena paraṃ manuṣyastadbṛṃhaṇaṃ dehabalapradaṃ ca ||
When, with channels purified and the body clean, a man consumes an aphrodisiac food in measured quantity and at the proper time, / he becomes exceedingly potent like a bull; it is nourishing and bestows strength to the body.
