adhīyāno 'pi tantrāṇi tantrayuktyavicakṣaṇaḥ |
nādhigacchati tantrārthamarthaṃ bhāgyakṣaye yathā ||
Even when studying treatises, one who is not skilled in textual devices / does not grasp the meaning of the treatise, just as one [gains no] wealth when fortune is depleted.
