atantrīkṛtatantrārthaḥ śāstramātropajīvinaḥ |
rājñāṃ pramādādrāṣṭrāṇi caranti vyādhavṛttayaḥ ||
Having rendered the meaning of the treatises unprincipled, living merely off the name of the scripture, / [these quacks] behaving like hunters roam the kingdoms through the negligence of kings.
