prāṇācārthaṃ vedapāraṃ prayātaṃ budhyā yuktaṃ pūjayennityamasmāt |
yasminyasya prāṇayātrā nibaddhā tasmai yacchan ko dhanānāṃ dhanāyet ||
Therefore one should constantly honor the [physician], the teacher of life, who has reached the further shore of knowledge and is endowed with intellect;
for giving to him upon whom one's very journey of life depends, who would begrudge wealth?
