Water born from moonstone dispels demons, poison, pitta, and fever; / it produces stability of vision, intellect, and physique, and is sweet, cold, and light. // One should drink the powders of linctuses and medicines with meat soup, water, wine, and the like. // And often, through excessive application, one repeatedly goes into confusion. // May goddess Pūtanā, dwelling in a deserted house, protect the child!
