krimikāsakaphotkledān kāsamardo jayet saraḥ ||
Pattūra stimulates the digestive fire, is bitter, and cures disorders of the spleen, piles, kapha, and vāta. / Kāsamarda, being laxative, conquers worms, cough, and excessive discharge of kapha.
