Rājamāṣa is heavy, produces much feces, dry, and greatly aggravates vāta. / Kulattha is astringent, sweet, dry, hot, and causes raktapitta. // He breathes upward with difficulty, with his limbs continually drooping. // Due to śleṣman, it has unctuousness, knottedness, and same color [as the skin]. // Trāyantī, pauṣkara root, sahapatraphalā, and phala... // There may be rigidity, pain, and breaking pain in the hips, anus, calves, thighs, and bladder. // The diet there is vāta-pacifying, along with sudation, massage, and enemas. // Among them, one who laughs on seeing food, cries out in an altered voice, and is perpetually terrified, is possessed by Kaśmala; / one who twitches all his limbs, runs repeatedly, and terrifies others, is possessed by Kuśa; / one who becomes angry upon seeing a physician, wanders while eating, eats excessively, lies down covered in ash, obstructs women on the road, and rubs urine and feces, is possessed by Nistejas; / one with the appearance, conduct, and smell of a ghost, cutting grass, terrified, and loathing food, is possessed by a Preta.
