koṣṭhavakṣasoḥ stanayośca madhye satvarajastamodhiṣṭhānamāmāśayadvāraṃ hṛdayaṃ tatrāpi sadyomaraṇam |
Between the abdomen and chest, and between the breasts, is the heart—the seat of sattva, rajas, and tamas, and the doorway to the stomach; there also, immediate death occurs [upon injury].
