tāmro 'tra hariṇaḥ kṛṣṇastveṇo hṛdyastridoṣajit |

laghīyān ṣaḍrasaścāsau grāhī rūkṣo himaḥ śaśaḥ ||

kurvīta modakānakṣasammitāṃste 'pi tadguṇāḥ ||

Here, the copper-colored [deer] is the hariṇa; the black one is the eṇa; it is good for the heart and conquers the three doṣas.
The hare is lighter, has six tastes, is bowel-binding, unctuous-less, and cold.
One should prepare sweetmeats measuring an akṣa; they too possess those qualities.
