7.88

pārāvatāḥ kapotāścṛa tadvadvanyāḥ supūjitāḥ |

īṣaduṣṇagurusnigdhā bṛṃhaṇā vartakādayaḥ ||

śuṣkāṃśca bhakṣyān sulaghūṃścaṇakādirasānupaḥ ||

Wild pigeons and doves, likewise praised,
are slightly hot, heavy, unctuous, and nourishing, like the buttonquail and others.
And dry foods that are very light, followed by the juice of chickpea and the like.
