tayorudārayoryuktirdīrghasya susukhasya ca |
niyatasyāyuṣo heturviparītasya cāparā ||
madyamāṃsaviyuktasya prayoge syāt kiyān guṇaḥ ||
The combination of those two [when they are] noble is the cause of long, very happy, / and predetermined lifespan; and of the opposite [kind of lifespan], the other [combination]. // What quality could there be in an administration devoid of wine and meat?
