Kuṭaja fruit, bilva, citraka, mahauṣadha, prativiṣā, vacā, cavikā, / dhanvayavāsa, pathyā, and dāruharidrā: this group destroys hemorrhoids. / [It causes] premature discharge of semen, retention, or its morbid alteration. / And one should drink the decoction of yellow deodar with urine. / And one should carry out all treatments as for a kapha nodule, avoiding softening compression. / And when suppurated and incised, [it should be treated] like a śleṣman ulcer. / That born of blood is like an increase of pitta; / and here one should repeatedly remove blood. / And halos around the sun and moon, firebrands, rays of light, and rainbows [are seen].
