Simultaneous emergence of hunger and thirst, purity of heart, eructation, and throat,
softness of disease, enthusiasm, and loss of stupor [occur] in one who is fasted.
One should perform internal treatment by means of purgation, non-unctuous enema, and unctuous drinking.
And when it is digested, gruel containing sesame, black gram, and meat paste [should be given].
Then one should induce emesis with a thin gruel prepared with the decoction of emetic drugs, containing ghee, made dense with powder of rock salt and black gram, and accompanied by hot water.
