Therefore, [he should administer] the light juices of carnivorous animal meat, seasoned with pomegranate and salt, / and likewise juices, prepared and unprepared, from arid-zone animals made into veśavāra, / as well as milk and so forth, satisfying drinks, and repeated refreshing drinks; / this chapter is the fruit of Āyurveda, because it brings immediate relief from suffering.
