28.24

The dose of an evacuating enema, however, is one prakuñca in the first year. / Thereafter, each year one should increase it by one prakuñca up to six prasṛtas. / And above that, the increase is by a prasṛta. / For those who have reached eighteen up to seventy, it is twelve prasṛtas. / And beyond that, only ten. / Others, however, desire eight prasṛtas even where twelve prasṛtas [is prescribed].
