40.10

In a proper burn, an application is made with bamboo manna, plakṣa, sandalwood, and red ochre, / together with guḍūcī and ghee, or with pastes prepared from wetland meat.

Gaze, breath, touch, fangs, mouth, claws, bones, urine, feces, semen, menstrual fluid, saliva, bristles, bile, blood, and corpses— / these, moreover, reside in snakes, insects, kaṇabhas, and the like. / Their respective resulting diseases and treatment will be described later.
