And all doṣas arise for those who indulge in a rustic diet of sour, salty, pungent, alkaline, incompatible, unwholesome, dry, canal-blocking, moist, heavy, putrid, stale, freshly harvested grains, dried vegetables, raw meat, sesame, kulattha, curds, fermented gruel, vinegar, foods made of flour, and sprouted grains; who are addicted to daytime sleep, women, and alcohol; whose bodies are agitated by irregular and excessive physical exercise and strain; who are prone to anger, greed, fear, grief, and exhaustion; who perform sinful actions; and who are devoted to improper food, conduct, and evacuation of wastes.
