sūryāṃśaṃ dhūmam ity āhuryato ' bhraprabhavaḥ smṛtaḥ | abhrādvarṣaṃ tato ' nnāni, tasmāt tejo mahatparam ||
They say vapor is a portion of the sun, whence the origin of clouds is taught; / from the cloud comes rain, thence foods; therefore, fire is supreme and great.
